This design adapts a paper towel holder to be compatible with the IKEA Skadis pegboard.
I’ve crafted three custom-designed hooks, meticulously engineered with minimal tolerances, for both sections of the holder.
This precise design ensures a tight and secure fit.
For assembly, you’ll require two M3x20mm bolts to function as hinges.
Additionally, I’ve included an alternate layout for the Skadis hooks on the right mount.
This alternate layout allows for adjustments in the mount’s width in 2cm increments, offering greater flexibility compared to the standard 4cm increments.
This feature provides more versatility to accommodate different spacing needs.
Update 27.03.2024: The problem of certain hooks failing to securely bind to their holders has been successfully addressed and resolved.
Lock Plug For a permanent installation I recommend using the Skadis Lock Plug to prevent the holder from sliding out of the pegboard holes when you retrieve your accessories.
