Replacement wall spacer for the Ikea Skadis Pegboard.
Most of the replacement spacers across these sites have been poorly designed with respect the the 2 pins on the spacer, which dont fit into correctly into the connector plates etc.
This version has been modelled on exact spacing and works perfectly as a drop-in replacement for the official spacers.
The model contains two versions: a 20mm version to replicate the official spacer and an 18mm version designed to work with the Skadis Pegboard connector plates (Ikea doesn’t provide additional spacers with these plates, and the standard ones are too long).
These have been designed to fir the standard M4 thumb-screw that comes with the Skadis, but a standard M4 bold will work just as well.
If the fit is a bit too tight, I would recommend using a drill or manual tap bit to cut the threads a little more.
Printable in PLA and PETG etc, very easy to print with no supports needed, but make sure your build plate is very clean if you dont use a brim.
The top pins are very small and wont stand up to any strain (as layer bonding is week), but using PETG and/or printing slowly can give them a bit more rigidity.
